In the welding manufacturing of storage tanks, pressure vessels, and large cylindrical workpieces, the components are typically large in size, heavy in weight, and vary significantly in specifications. This places higher demands on the stability, load-bearing capacity, and adaptability of supporting and rotating equipment. As a key foundational component of automated welding systems, the hydraulic welding rotator adjusts roller positions smoothly through hydraulic drive, enabling rapid setup for cylindrical workpieces of different diameters. Compared with manual or mechanical adjustment methods, hydraulic adjustment provides smoother operation and better synchronization, effectively reducing on-site manual intervention and setup time, and offering stable and reliable support for subsequent longitudinal and circumferential welding processes. Compared with traditional mechanical rotators, hydraulic rotators allow synchronized adjustment of roller spacing, ensuring uniform load distribution during workpiece clamping and rotation. Engineering Application of Welding Automation System for Large Structures

In this project, Xushen Welding delivered and implemented an automated welding system tailored to the customer’s production requirements for large metal structures. The solution was primarily applied to the fabrication of cylindrical components, long structural parts, and heavy-duty welded assemblies, addressing challenges such as large workpiece size, long weld seams, and high demands for welding stability. During the planning stage, the engineering team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of workpiece dimensions, welding processes, and workshop layout. Based on these factors, the system configuration and workflow were carefully designed. By integrating appropriate workpiece support units with welding execution equipment, the system ensures smooth and continuous movement of the workpiece, keeping the weld seam in an optimal position throughout the welding process. The system allows flexible adjustment of welding parameters to accommodate different product specifications and process requirements. This reduces the need for frequent fixture changes and manual intervention, while the automated operation significantly lowers labor intensity and improves workplace safety. Continuous Inner Bore Cladding of Long Pipes

In the inner bore cladding of long pipe workpieces, extended welding distances, confined spaces, and continuous operating conditions place higher demands on welding stability and weld layer consistency. Especially for inner bore cladding of pipes with lengths of 6 meters and above, conventional equipment often faces challenges in arc stability, wire feeding uniformity, and weld bead formation. To address these typical application requirements, this hot wire TIG dual-tungsten electrode cladding equipment is structurally and technologically designed for long-distance, continuous inner bore cladding operations, with a focus on improving welding stability in long pipe applications. By combining hot wire TIG technology with a dual-tungsten electrode welding process, the equipment maintains stable arc performance and continuous wire feeding during long-distance inner bore cladding, resulting in smoother and more uniform weld layer formation. Through automated control, precise matching of welding parameters and continuous process operation are achieved, reducing the influence of manual intervention on weld quality and ensuring higher consistency and repeatability during actual operation. Application of Hydraulic Tilting Welding Rotator for Large Cylindrical Workpieces

The hydraulic tilting welding rotator is a widely used auxiliary device for welding large cylindrical and roller-type workpieces. It is commonly applied in the fabrication of pressure vessels, storage tanks, heavy machinery components, and energy equipment. In this project, Xushen Welding supplied a hydraulic tilting rotator tailored to the customer’s large cylindrical welding requirements. The rotator features a heavy-duty welded steel frame designed to provide excellent rigidity and long-term stability under heavy loads. The hydraulic tilting system allows the entire rotator to tilt smoothly within a preset angle range, enabling the workpiece to be positioned in an optimal welding orientation. This function significantly improves weld accessibility and enhances welding process stability compared to conventional fixed rotators. The rollers are coated with high wear-resistant material and precisely aligned to ensure stable rotation under high load conditions. During operation, the workpiece rotates smoothly with minimal vibration or axial deviation.
